Last weekend, I took classes to become a Holy Fire Reiki master! I was so excited, because Holy Fire is just the holistic healing I was looking for. Evidently, there are over 200 types of reiki. Holy Fire, specifically, was the answer to my prayers though. For a long time I prayed that I wanted to be more like Jesus. Whether you believe Jesus was the Christ, a prophet, a great teacher or ascended master, doesn’t matter to me; we are all on our own journey. I wanted to be like Jesus and the more I learned, the more I wanted to be an Ascended Master too. I prayed to God that I wanted to be like Jesus, but I didn’t know how. Since I am a decent reader, I can read about Jesus and his teachings, but I was not sure how to bring that level of peace and discernment into my life.
I loved meditating, but I was not sure if it was helping and it felt self indulgent. I know self-care is important. I know the angels guide each individual to bring more peace and wisdom into our lives, if we allow it. I liked the peaceful feeling of meditation, but I wanted to help other people too. It felt self indulgent for to lay still receiving healing while there are people who could use clean water and food. For me, reiki was the best of both worlds. When you give a reiki session to someone, in person or via distance, the reiki heals the other person as well as you! You can also channel reiki for an idea or a cause, so I could send distance healing to the people and situations to help the causes I care about! How cool is that?! When you do channel reiki for a cause often enough, you can see changes manifesting.
Depending on what translation a person is using Luke 6:38 says something like, “Give, and it will be given to you” so this healing for both people giving and receiving made sense to me. I loved reiki, but I was not sure how most people would accept this idea of reiki. The true answer is to experience it. Just like all things in life, to truly accept something a person needs to discover it for themselves. I can tell a person what they need, but mentioning it to them is normally just planting a seed. Their spirit can either reject the idea or give the idea some nourishment to grow.
I don’t know if I can speak for all 200 versions, but reiki typically does not espouse religiously views. Reiki is a healing technique; a philosophy that can mix with people from any religion. I still was not sure how people would receive it and I prayed for God to give me a healing system that I could take to the world that would bring the highest light to all who received it. I kept praying that prayer and sending reiki to that idea; unbeknownst to me, Jesus was working with William Lee Rand to develop Holy Fire Reiki!
Taking the Holy Fire Reiki Advanced Reiki Techniques (ART) and Master/Teacher classes was such a great experience! I met other reiki practitioners from around the United States and Canada. We took turns sharing our experiences and practicing on each other. I can hard wait to host talks about it and train others in Holy Fire Reiki!!! Once a person agrees to work with the Holy Fire so many positive changes can unfold beautifully. I can’t describe them all in this post or it would be way too long. More to come! Stay Tuned! Peace be with you!
